Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and production targets.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain logistics to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align operational activities with business objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor operational staff, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Implement cost control measures to manage operational expenses and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and quality management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management roles, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational planning and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
